Teen Read Week - Oct. 15-21

Read for the fun of it as we celebrate the ninth annual Teen Read Week, October 15 – 21, 2006. The theme this year is Get Active@Your Library, and we have loads of activities planned - take part, have fun, and get a gift.

All week - report on a book, and earn a library dollar. Library $$$ can be used to pay fines, or to pay for library trips.

Pre-Registration is required for the following programs. Call the YA desk at 654-4700, ext. 251 for more information.
Ancient Art: Rubbings from Beyond the Grave - Tuesday, October 17 from 7:30 to 8:45 pm. Make beautiful art while learning a simple, ancient technique that will have you hooked on haunted history.

Tower of Biblo: Competitive Book Tower Building - Wednesday, October 18 from 7:00 to 8:15 pm. Challenge your friends to a tower building contest using books! The team with the highest standing tower wins! Come join us for food, fun and prizes.
