Teen Top Ten Nominations Announced

25 books have been nominated for the teens top ten list, sponsored by the American Library Association. You can vote for your favorites during Teen Read Week, October 14-20, 2007. Go to www.ala.org/teenstopten/ for more information about this year's nominees and to see the lists of past winners.

I was so excited to see my book on the list - alongside books by Gordon Korman, Sarah Dessen, and Kevin Brooks! Next to books like Life as We Knew It!

I'm from a Medford, too, Medford Oregon is my home town. All the libraries there have closed due to a funding failure. It is depressing me no end.

In Search of Mockingbird sounds like a good one. Sort of like a So B. It kind of thing? I especially love the cover. =)

It deeply saddens me to see New Moon there...

it is very sad that the libraries in an entire town can shut down for lack of funding.

Congratulations on the nomination, April, and I hope your hometown libraries reopen soon.
