The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp by Richard Yancey

Alfred Kropp is an unwilling and unlikely hero. Overweight and unpopular, he struggles through his school days until his uncle involves him in the theft of King Arthur’s legendary sword Excaliber. His uncle is killed, and the theft starts an incredible battle between rival groups of modern-day nights.
